What is 'Smartphone de Order'?

The 'Smartphone de Order' service allows customers to use the time they spend waiting in line to order at USJ restaurants to view the menu on their smartphone and decide what they want to order in advance. At the order counter, all you have to do is scan the QR code of your pre-determined order, so you don't have to tell the waiter the name of the food or drink you want and how many you want. The common term for this service is 'mobile ordering'.

The advantage of 'Smartphone de Order' is that it reduces ordering time and eliminates miscommunication.

Conversely, it does not make much sense if there is no waiting time for orders. (**)

How to use the Three Broomsticks and Smartphone de Order｜USJ Harry Potter Area

Scan the order QR code with your phone using your phone.

Order QR code on the Three Broomsticks smartphone by reading the QR code with your own smartphone; the QR code can be found on the card held by the clerk standing at the entrance to the Three Broomsticks, or on the information board in the waiting line inside the shop.

Select 'Email' or 'SMS' as the notification method and enter your email address or mobile phone number depending on your choice.

Order details and QR code for ordering are displayed on the phone.

When the order is confirmed, the order number, order details and QR code for the order are displayed on the smartphone screen. If you accidentally close the browser screen, you can still view the QR code as there is a URL in the message sent to your email or SMS.

Present your order QR at the order counter and pay.

You can pay by cash, credit card, e-money or QR code payment and that's it. All that remains is to receive your receipt as before and go to the food collection counter.

• The phone must be connected to the internet.
• Requires scanning a QR code with a smartphone and using a browser to decide what to order.
• If you want to pay individually, you need to use your own smartphone to do so.
• Payment cannot be made on the phone.

The actual experience of using the system is easy to use if you are used to using a smartphone on a regular basis, so you can use the time waiting for your order to decide what you want to order, which shortens the time required.
