MINALIMA Osaka MINALIMA talk show venue opens â

The MinaLima talk show was held at the MinaLima Osaka shop, which opened its doors at 18:30 and participants entered one after another. Naturally, or perhaps not surprisingly, the seats were filled from the front rows, where they could get a closer look at Mina and Lima.

Tickets to attend the Mina Lima talk show were sold out in advance, so the seats are now full and the talk show by Mina and Lima is about to begin.

The duo of graphic designers and representatives of Studio MinaLima, including the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series, Mirafola Mina (pictured right) and Eduardo Lima (pictured left), appeared in front of the Black family tree. The Black family tree was presented to the audience.

The talk show was also affected by the outbreak of infectious diseases and colds, and the interpreters they had asked for were all down and unable to come, so two people from the MINARIMA Osaka shop had to take on the role of interpreters at short notice.

The first half of the talk show introduces the two of them and their graphic design episodes.

Everyone who attended today, 15 December, was all new to the Minarima talk show. (Apart from me, Pancake Man).

The expressions on their faces as they listen and the way they look at Minarima are all serious. I can see why. The two graphic designers I admire so much are speaking in front of me in their own voices.

The talk covered how the two met, the connection that led to their involvement with the Harry Potter films, and the reasons for the development of the merchandise shop, before and after the birth of House of MINARIMA and Studio MINARIMA.

The Harry Potter terminology has a lot of unique and technical terms in English, and the field of graphic design also has a lot of jargon and special words, so it was difficult for the two interpreters.

The participants, Mina and Rima enjoyed the friendly atmosphere with laughter as they checked terminology in places and translated into the friendly Osaka dialect.

The second half of the talk show is a question and answer session for Ms Minarima.

MINARIMA The second half of the talk show was a time for participants to ask questions to Minarima.

The questions were varied and fun to listen to. For example, the following questions were asked.

• 'When is the moment you come up with an idea for a graphic design?'
• 'Is there anything you don't like about doing what you love, graphic design, as a career?'
• ."TV series Harry Potter.Will you also be responsible for the graphic design of?"
• 'If you were to do a graphic design for a Japanese magic school, Mahokoro, what would you envision?'

The participants listened intently and laughed at Minarima's answers, and the long question period came to an end in no time at all. The question time was long, but the time for questions ended quickly, with no end to the questions! (Me too, w/e)

I want to know the answer to the question! What does that mean? (#^. ^#) Hmmm, I don't know, I'll think about it if I get a lot of responses. (≥▽≦)

The TV drama version of Harry Potter is a news item that has already been announced by max (formerly HBO max) in the USA.The production staff for the drama version of Harriotta is currently undecided, so it was unclear whether the two Minarima members would also be in charge.

After the talk show, a signing and photo session with Milafora Mina and Eduardo Lima took place after the break. Pictured is a visitor in a Dr Severus Snape costume.Mr McGovern.is in the process of having the print lettered and the book 'Magic of Minarima' personally signed by the artist.

Harriotta fans from the East.'Kinako'.is holding a big niffler and getting his autograph on the illustrated edition of The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Magic of Minarima, and is posing for a photo in front of the Black family tree. I can't show you, but he had a very nice smile, full of happiness.

McGovan and the other participants were smiling and beaming from start to finish, and just looking at their happy faces made me feel happy too.

The photographer is one of the Mina Lima family, Lima's partner 'Mauricio Carneiro'. Thank you very much for all your support. （He took care of the photography with a smile, both at Potatua and at Comic-Con.)

And I, Pancake Man, say, listen.

I was smiling at myself, but my facial expression was super-catty! Why? (Laughter) Maybe I was unconsciously nervous. I was so excited myself, I should have had a full smile on my face, but wow... I might not look happy in this picture, but I will explain that I was super happy. (...-_-...)

I prepared the Harry Potter AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN Mina Lima illustrated book and the art print ALBUS DUMBLEDORE'S MEMORIES (Dumbledore's Memory vial labels).

The inside cover of the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was signed by Mirafola Mina and Eduardo Lima. Isn't it too nice that the inside cover has a nice design and the two Mina Lima's autographs are written in a natural way! (≥▽≦)

I got Dumbledore's name filled in on an art print.

Jamie (a popular staff member at Minalima Osaka) when Minalima held its first pop-up store in Japan in 2018 at the Hankyu Department Store.temptationThis is an art print of Headmaster Dumbledore's memory label that I was compelled to buy. It has been a treasure ever since I bought it. Thank you! Jamie ♪ And today it has been upgraded to a super treasure.

Souvenirs were given to those who attended the Mina Lima talk show in Mina Lima Osaka. Three nice items.

Tote bags with the official MINARIMA logo are particularly pleasing. It seems that goods with the main design of the MINALIMA logo are sold, but they are not.

And a 'colouring in' book of Minalima's own graphic design animal series. As a potter, I usually buy Haripota goods first and foremost, so I am happy to be able to acquire original MINARIMA products for the first time, which I don't often have access to.

MINARIMA OSAKA New 'Black Family Tree' series also on display & on sale.

Many participants purchased the new Black family genealogy series, and some guests even bought a Black family art print and attended an autograph session with Minarima.Â

There were also many people who bought additional illustration books and Minarima books to have them signed, and many of them were carrying three or four (very heavy) books by themselves, and I felt their (very heavy) love for Minarima. I would like to end with a punchline. (*´▽｀*)
