If you look closely, the words 'Magic of MINALIMA' have been added in small katakana characters below MINALIMA. The only difference is the logo of the publisher, HarperCollins.

The back cover is all in Japanese, including the instructions. The publisher of the lower left-hand side of the book has been changed to HarperCollins Japan. Â The design and logo are in English mum.

Magic of Minarima Japanese version Contents

A quick look at the Magic of Minarima Japanese edition shows that the content has the same structure and volume as the English edition. Only the text parts that are not designed, such as the explanatory text, have been translated into Japanese. This is excellent! The atmosphere and layout of the content gives a feel of the original English version, and only the parts of the explanations and descriptions that you want to read are translated and printed in Japanese.

I wasn't sure until I saw the actual book, but when I looked at the actual book, the design and texture are exactly the same as the original English edition. The cover and spine are at such a level that, when viewed from a little distance, it is impossible to tell which is the Magic of Minarima English or Japanese edition.

This publication design is nice, because Harry Potter, Wizarding World and MINALIMA logos and designs are cool in English.Â

I don't want to be misunderstood, so I'll just write that I like Japanese kanji, hiragana and katakana. The Harry Potter design is the original version, or rather the original British English, so it means that I like the Harry Potter-related logo design because the English is cool.

Japanese fans will be very happy to see the beautiful MAGIC OF MINALIMA published in its original Japanese version.

I, Pancake Man, couldn't wait and bought the English version on the day of publication, but if it had been released at the same time, I would have bought the Japanese version in my hand. The Minarima Illustrated version of the original novel Harry Potter series had all the logos in katakana and Japanese for both the English and Japanese versions, so I bought the English version for its stylishness. I have the original novels, I have the early books and I have them in e-book format (laughs).

If you buy from Minarima Osaka (or from the Minarima web online shop), a Minarima signature will be included.

Moreover, the Japanese version is slightly cheaper! Why? Why? This is a curious point. Perhaps it is because the production costs for the printing company are cheaper in Japan than in the UK. I have mixed feelings of happiness and sadness. (^^;
is a good thing for Harry Potter fans and Minarima fans who buy it, because it's cheap.

I have already bought the English version and my personal wish is that the Japanese version should be sold as a text data e-book with just the explanatory content (laughs).

Like the English version, it is heavy and bulky. It is lighter and smaller than the Hogwarts example illustrated book, though... Please note that it is heavy and large when you buy it in a shop and take it home.
