I machine-washed my robe and scarf at my own risk.Â

Wearing a robe in the spring and autumn seasons definitely makes you sweat on the World Wide Web.

It is not impossible to fool such robes once or twice with a fabreeze.

but I run it in the washing machine and wash it (laughs).

How to machine wash the robe｜Harry Potter Official Replica Costume

1. Put nothing but dressing gowns in the washing machine.
2. Fold the dressing gown into the large net in two or three folds.
   (Nets are available at 100 yen shops.)
3. The coat of arms part of the dormitory andEmbroidery with name of studio touretc. are folded inwards and concealed to prevent rubbing.
4. After dehydration, dry immediately in a well-ventilated place on large hangers.
   (When drying, the robe is in a clean shape.)

As it is polyester, I use the washing method described above to prevent fraying and messing up. After washing, simply hang dry on a large hanger and the fabric will be clean and tidy without any odd wrinkles. As you would expect from polyester. However, if you don't like the slightest bit of sagging or wrinkling, you can lightly press or iron the trousers to make them nice and clean. All of my photos show them unwashed (lol).

Incidentally, USJ's official Gryffindor scarf is also sweaty and dirty, so I run it through the washing machine in the same way.â

If it can be washed, it is safe & comfortable to get your robe & scarf dirty on a hot summer day ('omega').
However, in my personal opinion, the sewing of the robe is simple.
Therefore, I expect that after about 10 times in the washing machine, the threads at the edges, such as the cuffs, will start to fray.
I'll think about it then and there... ♪
If you are concerned, wash carefully by hand in the bath tub or basin instead of using a washing machine!
You don't have to write it down, but Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw all use the same materials.
