Ticket Pia's Resale Tickets is a system for reselling tickets that the ticket buyer wants to give up for a reason, roughly explained. Even if tickets for a photo session or autograph session of a popular actor are sold out, if you are lucky and have good timing, you may be able to buy them on resale!

Which do you prioritise: autographs or photo tickets?

The following is an explanation from Tono Jude Law's ticket-buying experience. At this year's Tokyo Comic-Con 2019, there are only a few slots available for autograph sessions and photo sessions. This is why autograph tickets are selling out quickly. If you would like to obtain both tickets, we recommend that you prioritise the purchase of autograph tickets. Photography tickets are likely to remain available (*´▽*).

Even if the tickets are sold out at Ticket Pia, the Halicon website may still have tickets in stock. Ticket inventory is held separately. Don't give up, check the Halicon website as well!

Until 2018, passes were available for entry ahead of general cosplay admission tickets. With a priority entry ticket, you no longer have to queue for dozens of minutes. As there are only a small number of these tickets available, they are sold out as soon as they go on sale.

Change of rules for photo sessions with actors.

The rules for photo sessions with guest actors have changed from Tokyo Comic-Con 2019. If you are a single attendee, you do not need to worry about this. If you are attending with two or more adults, you will need to purchase an additional ticket (for a companion). Please note that only a maximum of three adults can be photographed together.

One ticket for one printed photo for the photo session.

For those who have attended Halicon or Comic-Con, you know the rule: with one photo ticket, you only get one developed photo; please note that you will not get a photo for a companion ticket, a rule introduced from 2019.

If you want more than one photo

  1. Buy tickets for a number of shoots (although they are more expensive).
  2. Download from internet WEB site with paid data service (about 1,300 yen, credit card required).
  3. Scan and print colour yourself (cheapest, but image quality depends on effort and equipment performance?)

Autographs are also limited to accompanying children of primary school age and younger.

When reading the rules for the autograph session at Tokyo Comic-Con 2019, it is stated that anyone below primary schools age can accompany the signing session. Reading it the other way around, it can be interpreted that junior high school students and above cannot attend without an autograph session ticket.

Me as a young man! What a laugh! I've just had a photo shoot with Lord Jude Law, dressed as Principal Dumbledore! As we met and shook hands, Jude Dumbledore looked me (Pancake Man Dumbledore) in the eye and said 'Oh, Albus! He laughed at me w and we took a photo of us shoulder to shoulder (snap!) and shook hands again when we parted. He had a charming, cool smile.
