This lift is located in the parking lot of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo. At first glance, it looks like a newly built, clean and ordinary lift hall, but in fact, this lift of the Harry Potter Tour Tokyo was amazing for Harry Potter fanatics!

  Two types of elevator buttons existed, one for muggles and one for wizards.

Looking at the elevator button panel, the top button is a normal button for Muggles. This button calls the elevator for the upper floor.

The buttons on the bottom? Have you seen the It is an illustration of a gesture icon with the palm facing up or down. In fact, this was a sensor, not a button, for wizards. Surprise!

Witches and wizards who can use magic can call an elevator by placing their finger close to the gesture icon and waving their finger up and down. All my fellow Harriotta friends who were with me were delighted by this! Studio Tour Tokyo is amazing!

The interior of the elevator was Hogwarts!

When the doors of the elevator that magically summoned them to the first floor opened, the inside of the gondola was the iconic design of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry... This was again a delight for all the fellow Harripotters who were with us!

The wallpaper inside the lift was decorated in gold with a purple background with silhouette logos of the Gryffindor lion, Hufflepuff cave bear, Ravenclaw eagle, Slytherin snake, Harry's glasses and lightning bolt symbol, time turner, hippogriff and feathered key from the four Hogwarts houses. It was lovely and a great way to feel the wizarding world inside the lift.

Buttons in the elevator were of the Muggle type!

Of interest are the buttons in the lift. There was a regular button and a black sensor button attached to the side. It looks a bit inorganic and hardly wizard-specific, but if you hold your hand over the black sensor on the right without touching the button, you can determine the floor you want to go to.

The button for the wizard was a wand (magic?). I could also call it...

This is the lift call button on the second floor. The parking lot of the Haripota Tour Tokyo has three floors: ground floor, second floor and rooftop; you can also call down from the second floor to the first floor by pressing the arrow button for Muggles with your finger.

In a bit of wizardry, I wondered if the wizard button (sensor) could be used to call the lift with something other than a finger. I took out my wand and waved it in front of the sensor, and to my surprise, the lift was called even with my wand! ( *´souvenir*)

What a magical experience! If you visit the Studio Tour Tokyo by car, please try calling the elevator with the button that is not for Muggles.
