Giant Tree in the Forbidden Forest｜Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo

The trees in the forbidden forest are all large trees with big, thick trunks. It is a forest of giant trees that makes you want to look up. It is so big that you can see the thick trunks all the way up to the ceiling of the studio instead of the trees growing above.

The floor is soft, as if you are walking on the fluffy ground in the forest with fallen leaves etc. Â Â My feet feel good when I walk here.

As soon as you step into the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts, you are immediately confronted by Hagrid, the Keeper of the Keys and Domain of Hogwarts.

Say hello to Hagrid and Hippogriff Buckbeak â"¢ Forbidden Forest Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo

Hagrid the Half-Giant is so large and tall that Buckbeak, the magical hippogriff next to him, does not look large, but up close he is as big as in the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Roughly speaking, Hagrid is about 2.5 metres tall.

Ford Anglia, the flying car from Forbidden Forest [first time] | Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo

This is the 'flying car' Ford Anglia that Ron and Harry rode to Hogwarts in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. After crashing into Hogwarts, the Ford Anglia went wild, didn't it? ( ****)

The windows are broken and the car body is battered and bruised.

Ron and Harry stole a car that Ron's dad 'Arthur Weasley' had illegally modified to fly at King's Cross Station (filmed at St Pancras Station) and flew it to Hogwarts.

The inhabitants of the Forbidden Forest are a wide variety of magical creatures, but some of them are also members of the wizarding world, the Kentarus, which are classified as 'humanoid', with intelligence close to that of humans. They seem real and really alive. Beware that centaur arrows will fly at you if you make them angry! (Laughter)

A way out for those who do not like dark spaces.

If you don't like dark spaces or spiders, you can take a shortcut through the Forbidden Forest to the backlot (outdoors). The location of the shortcut is the cave-like path to the lower right of the centaur.

Magic spell experience 'Expecto Patronum' to invoke the Patronus... [First appearance].

The Patronus Charm 'Expecto Patronum' is the first magic experience area to appear on the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo.

'Expecto Patronum' and wave your wand (hand) to summon your patron animal.

The experience is free and you do not need to have a walking stick.

If you can't get it right, it may be easier to work the magic if you roll up the sleeves of your robe a little so that your hands and arms are visible.

Defeat the Dementors (Suckers) with the magic spell experience 'Expecto Patronum' [first appearance].

This is the 'Expecto Patronum' experience area on the other side. Unlike the previous section, Dementors appear in the Forbidden Forest and attack you.

Guests can have a Harry Potter-like experience where they join forces to chant 'Expecto Patronum' to ward off Dementors, as called out by the interactors (staff). The experience is free and events are held on an irregular basis.

Exit the Forbidden Forest area to the backlot outside the building. This is an exhibition area with Hagrid's giant pumpkin patch and Hagrid's hut. From this backlot to the Forbidden Forest area is, in principle, a one-way trip with no way back.
