This detailed report is on the Slytherin Common Room of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo. The Slytherin Common Room at the Harry Potter Tour Tokyo is not only an exhibition & tour, but also an area where you can enter the Slytherin Common Room and see it up close. What's more, you can even experience sitting on the sofas and chairs in the Slytherin common room, which is really great. It's a great photo opportunity even for non-Slytherin dorm fans.

The Slytherin Common Room of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo is a replica of the film set, so you can see the back and sides of the exhibition set, including the framework and woodwork of the props set.

Slytherin common room first appeared in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

The Slytherin Common Room first appeared in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It was visible in the scene where Draco Malfoy visits the Slytherin Common Room to find out about the Chamber of Secrets from him. The location pictured above is near the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room.

Crabb and Goyle's Slytherin dressing gowns and costumes.

Crabb and Goyle are dressed as Crabb and Goyle sitting on a black leather sofa in the Slytherin common room. They are wearing Slytherin dorm dressing gowns, a raw-coloured shirt, jumper, trousers and dingy leather shoes. As this is a recreation of the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Crabbe and Goyle are Harry and Ron, transformed by the Polyjuice Potion. The sofa they are sitting on in the main film is actually the opposite sofa on the left. Also, the items on the table were sweets in the main film, so there are many differences. If you notice this, you are certified as a snake dormitory maniac. (≥▽≦)

Draco Malfoy costume.

A headless mannequin can be seen reproducing Draco Malfoy's complete uniform, including his dressing gowns from his second year at Hogwarts.

In the Harry Potter film series, Draco Malfoy wears the Hogwarts dressing gowns, tie and jumper of the first and second early designs. There are some differences from the later design, such as two clasps on the robes, and the hood and lining of the dressing gowns are all black with no dormitory colour. The jumper and trousers are also a lighter grey than the later design. The tie also has a simple green and silver stripe design.

This is the positioning of Draco Malfoy from the back of Crabbe and Goyle. It's like a scene from a film... a very realistic display.

Slytherin crest on the fireplace in the common room.

The coat of arms of the Slytherin dormitory, located on the fireplace in the Slytherin common room. The relief is designed with a snake, the symbolic animal of the dormitory. Also check out the inside of the fireplace.

There is also a large coat of arms of the Slytherin dormitory in the fireplace. A late-design Slytherin dressing gown and tie were on the sofa on the left.

Desk in Slytherin common room.

This desk is located between the stairs and the fireplace in the Slytherin common room. It's a little hard to see, but there are quill pens, notebooks and a book that appears to be a textbook. Now, who does it belong to?

机の向こう側の壁面には「一角獣狩り」（ユニコーン狩り）のタペストリーが飾ってあります。グリフィンドール談話室のタペストリーが「貴婦人と一角獣」と明るい印象であるのと対比して、スリザリン談話室のタペストリーは色合いも内容も暗い印象です。

Slytherin common room staircase.

This is the Slytherin Common Room staircase where Crabbe (Ron) and Goyle (Harry) ran away. This introduced Slytherin Common Room floor is fenced off and can only be visited from outside the fence, but it's a place I'd love to enter one day.

The right side of the fence of the Slytherin Common Room exhibition space (at the back in the photo) is a free area where you can freely sit and take photos on the black leather sofas and round table chairs of the Slytherin Common Room. Here you can enter the Slytherin Common Room for free and experience what it is like to be in the common room like the Malfoys!

The chairs around the round table in the Slytherin common room are free to use. You can sit down and feel like a Slytherin student or take a photo as a souvenir... There are no specific instructions for seating, but anyone is free to sit in the chairs.

In the free space, you are also free to take photos in a corner of the Slytherin Common Room. With a good angle of view, you can take photos and videos that really make you feel like you've stepped into the Slytherin Common Room from the Harry Potter films.

This is a popular spot, so if there are many guests waiting, take a short photo and switch to the next person. When no one is waiting, you have the chance to experience it at a leisurely pace.

If you don't follow the rules and manners, the housemaster, Professor Snape, will be angry with you!

[Hidden spot] The round window in the Slytherin common room is in the Black Lake!

There is a round window near the ceiling of the Slytherin common room. And outside the window you can see a scene of blue-white light shimmering and swaying. Do you know where the view outside this window is?

The Slytherin Common Room is actually located underground at Hogwarts, below the surface of Black Lake (Black Lake).Therefore, the view from the windows of the Slytherin common room is into the Black Lake, i.e. underwater. The shaking of the round window reproduces the light shining into the water and shimmering on the surface of the lake. (See also.Photo shows a giant miniature model of Hogwarts.)

The location of the Slytherin common room is unknown as it is specifically undisclosed where in Hogwarts' basement. It is also unclear whether it is near the boathouse or at the end of the cove.

Water can be seen dripping on the wall below the round window in the Slytherin common room because water from the Black Lake is leaking through the gap. It is very realistic.

Here is the backside of the film set of the round window on the lake. The circular round window is built into the framework of the film set, and the colour and movement of the lighting is used to represent the shimmering water and light.
