[Detailed report] Giant miniature model of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry|Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo
The giant miniature model of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is one of the most popular exhibits on the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo filming studio tour.
The size is 1/24 scale and is a very large miniature model. The Hogwarts Castle in the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo is a replica version built by the film production staff using the same production techniques as Hogwarts Castle in London, which was built for the filming of the movie. The appearance of the castle is realistic and the same 'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry' as seen on the film screen is breathtaking. This section explains the highlights and [hidden spots].

The model floor of Hogwarts Castle is on the second floor|Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo
Step onto the floor where a giant miniature model of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is located, and you'll find yourself on the second part of the floor, where you'll find the Hogwarts Castle, the castle of Harry Potter. Beyond the floor's glass fences and railings is a panoramic view of Hogwarts Castle, a favourite haunt of all Harry Potter fans.
Two information and interpretation boards are located on this second floor.
The tour takes visitors around the perimeter of Hogwarts Castle, walking anti-clockwise along the walls. The floor has a wide ramp that leads down to the ground floor after one lap, allowing wheelchair users to view the castle safely.
Hogwarts Great Hall, Courtyard and Moving Staircase Tower
The courtyard in front of Hogwarts Great Hall is clearly visible from the second floor. The thick tower on the right is the Tower of Moving Stairs. In the film, from the middle of the film, the Gryffindor common room also had an entrance in this tower.
Although it may be incorrect in the setting, 魔法界ドットコム sometimes describes it as Gryffindor Tower, the 'moving staircase tower'.
Tower of the Observatory Giant miniature model of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
The Astronomy Tower was featured in the Hogwarts class 'Astronomy', in the film where Harry, Hermione and Ron saw off the phoenix, and in the scene where Draco Malfoy cornered Dumbledore.
Although small and difficult to see with the naked eye, the observatory tower also houses a giant telescope.

Hogwarts Crossing.
This is a crossing corridor from the courtyard in front of Hogwarts Great Hall to the building that houses the Potions classroom and other buildings, and the tower where the Ravenclaw Common Room is located.
Hogwarts Castle has changed in appearance and layout with each film in the Harry Potter film series.
The model of Hogwarts Castle is so realistic that it really looks like the castle of the wizarding school is right in front of you.â
When you see it in front of you, the size is clearly recognisable and it looks like a large model of Hogwarts Castle, but the details are so realistic that the castle is built to a level where it looks like a real Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry castle in photos and videos.
Dr Sprout's greenhouse Day and night views
This is the Hogwarts greenhouse where mandrakes and other wizarding world medicinal plants are grown. It is commonly known as Professor Sprout's Greenhouse. It is thought that it is in this greenhouse that Harry met Professor Slughorn.
The Twin Towers of Hogwarts are visible on the right.
The lighting at Hogwarts Castle on the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo changes from as bright as day to as dark as midnight. If you wait a few minutes, you can enjoy each of the 24-hour views of Hogwarts: morning, noon, evening and night. (In London in 2019, the lighting and colour scheme was slightly different.)
Hogwarts Owl Tower (Owlery)
This is probably the first time most guests have seen Hogwarts from this side! The grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are extensive, and the Forbidden Forest, only part of which has been produced in this miniature, is also within the school grounds.
The tower on the far right of the photo is the Owl Tower (Owlery). This is where Harry met Chow Chan.
Night view Hogwarts boathouse
In the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry and his first-year students travel from Hogsmeade Station to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by boat across the 'Black Lake'.
You arrive at Hogwarts at the boathouse, which can be seen in the bottom left-hand corner of the picture. The lights on the long staircase leading from the boathouse have also been recreated and are fantastic.
The boathouse from the Harry Potter films is also a rather sad place for Harriotta fans.
Hogwarts Bridge and Owl Tower.
From left to right: the Stone Gateway (Stone Circle) square, Hogwarts Bridge, Owl Tower, courtyard and the Grand Clock building, which houses Madame Pomfrey's infirmary.

Stone circle lined with boulders where Draco Malfoy was beaten by Hermione.
After crossing Hogwarts Bridge, you arrive at the Stone Circle square, which is lined with giant stones. This is where Draco Malfoy was beaten by Hermione Granger in the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. (See also. The entrance to the USJ Harry Potter area is a stone gateway inspired by this location.)
Behind Hogwarts Great Hall
As you come to the end of the ramp down to the first floor, you come to a position where you can see the Hogwarts Great Hall from the back (professor's seat).
Gryffindor Tower (early: location of common room and bedrooms) is also visible.
Hogwarts Great Hall and Courtyard from below.
This is the Hogwarts Great Hall and courtyard looking up from the ground floor. It reminds me of a scene from the film Harry Potter...beautiful! (≥∇≦.)
The detailed and realistic texture of the castle makes it hard to believe that it is a model when seen on film.
There are many more spots and [hidden spots] introduced at Hogwarts Castle and on the school grounds. We will be adding to this report as we go along.
If you really want to know ahead of time, see the report below.
Ground floor has a view of Hogwarts from the lake at the Black Lake.
This is the view of Hogwarts Castle from the ground floor, coming down from a circuit of the castle. The floor level is almost the same height as the surface of the lake in the Black Lake. The floor is dark, but there is an explanatory information board on the right.
Slytherin common room in the Black Lake under Hogwarts?
The Slytherin Common Room is in the basement of Hogwarts and the 'Black Lake' can be seen from the common room window on the 'Slytherin Common Room' film set.
[Exit] Giant miniature model of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The exit to the giant miniature model floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is on the right as you come down the ramp to the ground floor.
[Map] Location of the giant miniature model of Hogwarts Castle|Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo
The location of the giant miniature model of Hogwarts Castle is just before the exit of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo tour area. The location of the Studio Tour exit is.Main merchandise shop.Is. Model floor of Hogwarts Castle → room with wand boxes with names of people involved → exit "Goods shop".
Most people do not have enough time to enjoy the exhibits and other attractions in the later areas of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo, so if you want to enjoy Hogwarts Castle at your leisure, we recommend that you arrive at the castle with plenty of time in your schedule.
