Reproduction of the Moving Staircase Floor at Hogwarts: the Really Moving Staircase and the Portrait Floor|Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo

'Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo - Making of Harry Potter'The Moving Staircase and Moving Portraits area of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the world's first exhibition set to appear in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Here are some of the things to do and see on this 'Hogwarts Moving Portraits & Moving Staircase' floor. This is an exhibition set that looks as if it is a complete recreation of the inside of Hogwarts Castle, which is a recreation of the film set. Just like in the Harry Potter films, the staircase moves and the wizards' portraits move. You can experience yourself as a 'moving portrait'.

Harry Potter Studio Tour Hogwarts Staircase and Portraits in London, UK

Just to be clear, let me explain.Harry Potter Studio Tour London, the UK's Harry Potter sanctuary. But the sets used for the filming of the movies, the Hogwarts moving staircase and the portraits, are on display, but in London only part of the staircase is displayed non-operational and the portraits are displayed side by side on a wall. It is not a recreation of the inside of Hogwarts Castle in the way that the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo is. However, the great thing is that the exhibits in London are authentic.â
'Hogwarts Moving Staircase' recreates a truly moving staircase! | Harriotta Tour Tokyo

'Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo' (former Toshimaen). The 'moving staircase' on the floor of the 'Moving Staircase' really moves, as if it were a recreation of the inside of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as seen in the film 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'! You can already feel like Harry and Ron when they first saw the moving staircase at Hogwarts in the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. This is the spot.

After some time has passed, the staircase extending from the second to the third floor begins to rotate 90 degrees towards the left wall, with a gogo-go sound coming from the back wall. No, no, I don't think they would have such a realistic movable set when filming a scene in a movie (laughs), but the Harriotta Tour Tokyo is amazing! Va.
Unfortunately Muggles and our guests are not allowed to ride on or up the stairs. (Laughter)
Hogwarts' Moving Portraits of Hogwarts at Haripota Tour Tokyo is a 360° display throughout the room â

The Moving Portraits of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo (Toshimaen site) are located on the four walls of a recreation of the inside of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry building. It is. You feel like you are in the Hogwarts Castle from the film, and it is an optical illusion. If you look at the ceiling, you can see that the lights and so on are exposed, so you can bring your senses back to reality that you're in a recreation of a film studio (laughs), but no, it's amazing!
If you look closely, you can see many moving 'portraits' of witches and wizards on the walls. In fact, this is a reflection of all the guests who came to visit Haripota Tour Tokyo! (*´▽`*)
Yes, "Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo" allows me and you to become Hogwarts portraits!

At the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo (at the site of Toshimaen), you can take a 'moving portrait' of yourself! This is fun. You'll want to do the filming and portrait experience again and again. No sound will be recorded, but about 10 seconds of your movement will be captured in the portrait.
It depends on which portrait of yourself you have filmed and at which location. Look for the portrait within this moving staircase floor. It may be a portrait high up on the wall, or it may be a portrait low down, just above the floor.
How to experience the Photo Experience 'Moving Portraits' photo shoot|Harry Potter Tour Tokyo

QR code or email address to obtain a QR code for the experience. (Click here for detailed acquisition instructions.)
Line up at the photo experience booth (if there is a long queue and it is crowded with a long waiting time, you may need to wait a little longer before coming back and it may be empty).

Choose a photo booth 'station' (not available during busy times) For groups of four or more, we recommend the photo booths 'Station A' and 'Station B', which are reflected in a large horizontal picture frame. Each station has a different background image.

Stations C, D and E are long and narrow and are best for up to two people. If you push it, you can get four or five people in the front and back, but it's a small space. The backgrounds have different atmospheres and you'll want to experience them all...

Display a QR code for your own photo experience experience on your phone.

Hold your Photo Experience QR code over the QR code reader on the information monitor in front of the photo booth.

Once the previous experience guest has been photographed, they will enter the photo booth. The monitor indicates that the photo will be taken 12 seconds before the next photo shoot starts.
Instructions to start & end filming are displayed on the monitor opposite from the photographer's side. For approximately 16 seconds, you will feel like a witch or wizard and move.
When you have finished filming, leave the booth as soon as possible. The next person will start filming.
Find your portrait in the 'moving portrait' frame. The frame in which the filmed image becomes a 'moving portrait' is random.

Photos & videos should also be taken on this floor with your own smartphone or camera♪ The reason is that the only video data that can be downloaded from the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo Photo Experience WEB site is the video data within the frame of the moving portrait. Since that video data does not show the frame of the portrait, it is not apparent whether it is a moving portrait or not. It may only look like a rough image! (^▽^;)
If you video record it, I recommend including the surrounding Hogwarts portraits in the video to get the best atmosphere and Hogwarts feel.

recommendation | Apart from the video to be DL, it is good to take your own photos & videos with a portrait frame to create the atmosphere of a real Hogwarts portrait. A moving staircase and many portraits in the background make for a great Hogwarts-feeling photo or video. |

There are only so many Instagrammable places to take photos anywhere, but even so, here are some particularly good photo & video spots.

Take photos and videos as if you were at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by standing next to the staircase.

Recommended photo spot] The entrance to the moving staircase floor (in the direction of travel) is a place where few people take photos. Recommended for those who want to stand out from the crowd. You can take photos with a Hogwarts feel. However, please take care not to obstruct traffic during busy times.

If you photograph this doorway from the other side, you can get a picture like this.

The entrance to the moving staircase floor (on the entry side) is also a lovely space, enclosed by Hogwarts columns.
The exhibit 'Hogwarts Architects' statue' is also on the left wall of this space.
Photo Spot] Hogwarts Architects' Statue

The standing statue by the wall at the entrance to the 'Hogwarts Moving Portraits & Moving Staircase' floor of the Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo (Toshimaen site) is the 'Hogwarts Architect Statue'. It is often seen on screen in the Harry Potter films. In his hand he holds a model of Hogwarts Great Hall and architectural drawings of Hogwarts. At his feet he is accompanied by the symbolic animals of the four Hogwarts houses.
'The Hogwarts Architect Statue' is a lovely photo op. In the film, it was placed at the entrance off Hogwarts Great Hall.

The Hogwarts Moving Portraits & Moving Staircases floor displays many of the portraits of witches and wizards that adorn Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The same portraits that appeared in the Harry Potter film series are reproduced in the exhibition, and many of the portraits were modelled on film staff. Here are some of the most famous and popular of these characters.
