The book, titled "Beyond the Cane", a self-taught Japanese translation, was written by Tom Felton himself.
This is a book in which Tom Felton, who played a Slytherin Hogwarts student in the Harry Potter film series, tells his own story of the ten years he experienced filming the movies and his working life after filming ended.
This includes an anecdote with Michael Gambon as Headmaster Dumbledore during the filming of Harry Potter. During a break in filming, Michael Gambon and I [Tom Felton] were outside the doors of the film studio, saying 'get some fresh air'. Michael Gambon took a cigarette out from between his beard. We smoked cigarettes together. Etc.
With Tom's own trademark humour, he talks about his experiences growing up on film and as a member of the wizarding world for the first time. He tells all about how he got his break, what it was like filming, the friendships he made during his decade-long film career, the highs and lows of fame, and the realities of working life after filming ended.
