A leather boot... a brown suitcase boot, just like the one in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

It's about 60cm x 30cm x 20cm and big enough for a human to fit inside.

Now, let me introduce you to Newt Scamander's coat, which I'm sure will be of most interest to everyone. w

The coat was merchandise sold on hottopic.com and is not an exact replica of the film.
It's an image model for the overcoat worn by Eddie Redmayne as Newt in the film.

For example, the lining is designed as the inner lining of Newt's boot.
Film: plain lining.

The left breast pocket, hidden by the collar, is embroidered with golden embroidery with tentacles trying to escape from the W.
Film: no embroidery (laughs), although Pickett is there.


The brown leather on the pockets and cuffs has been reproduced, giving the coat a very Newtonian feel.


A pocket for a magic wand is also located behind the lower right-hand side.
Film: a cane holder was used near the left waist belt.

The three buttons on the front are designed with the initials NS for Newt Scamander.
Film: one button Round button, no NS.

The same applies to the buttons on the back belt of a chester coat.

It's a pity that the photos you see on your phone or computer don't show the true colours.
The fabric is not all blue, so the light makes it look different from its original colour.
The fit is in US sizes, so the MD is equivalent to a Japanese L.
LG would seem to be about XL and one size larger in Japan.
It was on sale at hottopic.com, but unfortunately it is already sold out.

According to the manufacturer, as of December 2016 there are no plans to resell them.
I actually bought one, but it was too big and didn't fit me.
I tried to contact them to exchange it, but they were already sold out and couldn't exchange it.
So I bought a different size from another retailer, which was very expensive (^_^;).
It is a secret that I bought it at more than twice the list price.

I will sell the two surplus to anyone who wishes to have them.
It would be great if I could give it away for free to everyone who reads my blog or follows me on Twitter, but that's not going to happen with my pocketbook.
But then, it's Christmas, so I'll take the plunge and give one as a present. (...) Sickening... (laughs)
