The Harry Potter Christmas Tree event titled "MINATOMIRAI CHRISTMAS 2022: Journey to meet the Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is currently being held at the "Yokohama Landmark Tower" and "MARK IS Minato Mirai" shops. Goods and food in collaboration with the Wizarding World are now available.This is a report from one of the restaurants where we tried the food from the Haribo collaboration.

Here's a meal that looks like a mandrake, a magical plant that grows in the greenhouse at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter films... Mandrake Beef Stew. The pot looks like a flowerpot! (≧▽≦)

It comes with two round loaves of bread and a Mandrake card.

Peering over the top, it was indeed beef stew!

I peeked fearfully over the top (why should I be afraid?). But sure enough, inside the flowerpot you can see potatoes, carrots, meat and you can also see the stew sauce... Good thing it was food!

Mandrake The mandrake on the card is lovely.Â

Rice omake The mandrake on the card has a cute, kind face, unlike the mandrake in the Harry Potter film. There is text around it that looks like commentary, but it was unclear how to decipher it on the WWW.

The inside was a rich beef stew... Mandrake leaves were stuck in the potatoes. w

The green stuff that looked like a trunk and leaves on the mandrake's head when viewed from the side was, what a surprise, stuck in a potato. It was an idea (laughs).

The potatoes were fluffed up to a soft texture and were so hunky they were almost like mashed potatoes. It tasted nostalgic when eaten with beef stew. w

The beef is also cooked until it is not too tender and tender, but just tender enough to give you the satisfaction of eating meat.

The accompanying bread is soft enough to tear easily with your hands and is savoury and delicious eaten as is, or dipped in beef stew (≥▽≦)b.

The volume is at the level of a full stomach if eaten by one person; if two people shared it, they could have had another item plus an extra. I, Pancake Man, finished my meal and was in a state where I could eat cake or sweets. It was tough to eat a second plate of hamburger steak with stones.

After ordering, I remembered that I also wanted to have the 'Sorting Hat Hamburger'. The reason I forgot about it was because it wasn't listed on the Harry Potter collaboration menu... (￣дд) No - it's fine! I also wanted to try the Mandrake Beef Stew.

Kitchen Omiya (MARK IS Minatomirai, 4th floor)

At Kitchen Omiya MARK IS Minatomirai, there is a notebook for waiting customers in the shop, so they fill in their names and wait. I visited on a weekday, 20 minutes before the opening time of 11:00 a.m., and there were already three groups of names written down; at 11:00 a.m., there were about eight groups of names filled in.

They took us to our tables in turn from the opening time of 11am.

Kitchen Omiya MARK IS Minato Mirai is located near Tully's Coffee. Harry Potter Mahoudokoro can be seen on the fifth floor, one floor above the glass atrium.
