The Harry Potter Christmas Tree event titled "MINATOMIRAI CHRISTMAS 2022: Journey to meet the Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is currently being held at the "Yokohama Landmark Tower" and "MARK IS Minato Mirai" shops. Goods and food in collaboration with the Wizarding World are now available.This is a report from one of these shops, where I tried the sweets and drinks from the Haribo collaboration.

Harry Potter collaborative sweets 'Golden Snitch Tart'.

There are a lot of them in the showcase... ♪ But the staff at La Maison En Soleiltable told me that they sometimes sell out in the evening, so I, Pancake Man, decided to eat on the chance that I could, even though I wasn't hungry.

Is it just me, or does it look like the 'Golden Snitch' is flocking to the Mont Blanc cake when you look at it up close! (Laughs) Incidentally, the price for a whole whole hole is 13,000 yen.

Food Report] Harry Potter collaboration sweets 'Golden Snitch Tart', La Maison Ensoleil Tarble.

Then we'll have some right away... ♪

Mont Blanc tart with chestnuts (marron) as Snitch heads (spheres) and Snitch wings recreated as ornaments, inspired by one of the balls in Harry Potter's popular sport of Quidditch.

Just by the look of the cross section it looks delicious (≥▽≦).

The tart crust is filled with custard cream, fresh cream and a dollop of marron cream.

The chestnut (marron) on top is made of gold powder to match the colour of the gold snitch. The chestnuts on the top are made to look like gold with gold powder to match the colour of the golden snitch.

The Snitch flies quickly, so I tried to take photos from above, from the front and following the Snitch. There is no deep meaning at all (laughs).

The Golden Snitch Tart from La Maison Ensoleutable is quite soft in texture, including the tart dough. Overall, it is quite sweet. The level of sweetness is such that even I, Pancake Man, would find it enough after eating one, so beware if you don't have a sweet tooth.

The marron cream, custard cream and fresh cream are delicious! The smooth texture of the cream spread the rich flavour of each cream in a sizzling way. (≧▽≦)b It's exquisite♪

Food Report] Harry Potter collaboration drink 'Golden Snitch Café Latte' La Maison Ensoleil Tarble

This is a warm espresso latte. A sticker printed with 'QUIDDITCH The Golden Snitch' floats above the creamy foam.

What is it anymore? It's just a regular latte, isn't it? If you were to say, "It's just a regular latte!", you'd be right, but the tart is just a feather decoration! But sadly, the majority of Harry Potter fans are ingrained with the habit of wanting to drink and eat just this (laughs).

I had ordered the Harry Potter collaboration sweets 'Golden Snitch Tart' and the collaboration drink 'Golden Snitch Café Latte' to take a photo of them side by side on the WWW.

It tasted like a delicious normal café latte.
