Enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros, all eight films in the Harry Potter series will be broadcast and distributed on WOWOW!

Warner Bros Japan LLC has announced that Warner Bros Television, a division of Warner Bros, will broadcast and distribute the subtitled and dubbed versions of all eight films in the Harry Potter series on the satellite broadcaster WOWOW to celebrate the centenary of the film company's founding.

Opening of Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo - Making of Harry Potter.and the hit stage production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Warner Bros. has been captivating the whole of Japan with its wizarding world, as befitting a memorial year for the company.

This time, WOWOW will broadcast the subtitled versions of all eight films in the Harry Potter series for two days on 4 (Sat) and 5 (Sun) November and the dubbed Japanese versions for four days from 27 (Mon) to 30 (Thu) November. In addition, the series will also be available on WOWOW On Demand, allowing viewers to enjoy the Harry Potter series in its entirety. Take this opportunity to enjoy the growth of Harry and his friends and their magical world over a period of almost ten years.

About the Harry Potter series of films

Based on the bestselling novels written by British author J.K. Rowling, the first film in the series was made in 2001. The main character, Harry, is a lonely boy who suddenly loses his parents and is brought up by unloving relatives; he enters a wizarding school after receiving an acceptance letter on his 11th birthday, and goes on adventures with his classmates to confront his arch-enemy, Voldemort.

The Harry Potter series has fascinated children and adults alike since the first film was released. Second film: 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' Synopsis.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets film: Harry Potter's second year at Hogwarts begins with a tumultuous start when a house servant elf warns him of the danger he faces. Flying cars, rampaging trees, talking spiders, howling letters and Harry's ability to talk to snakes keep his friends away. Third film: 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' Synopsis.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film: unprecedented danger and shocking truths await 13-year-old Harry. The horror looms over the escape from prison of Sirius Black, the thug who left his parents to die. Harry faces the truth about his parents' deaths as he is even told of an ominous death prophecy. In Chapter 3, we begin to see what we couldn't see before and understand what we didn't understand. The true nature of the characters is finally revealed: we meet them in Chapter 1, watch them grow in Chapter 2, and learn the meaning of their existence for the first time in Chapter 3. Fourth film: synopsis of the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The legendary event "The Three Great Magic Schools Match", in which the world's three greatest schools of magic compete for magical power, is to be held. While the Goblet of Fire selects the representatives from each school, Harry Potter, who has not even run for the competition, is somehow chosen as one of the representatives. Fifth film: synopsis of the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Harry Potter's arrival at Hogwarts as a fifth year student is greeted with white eyes and jokey newspaper headlines. They accused Harry of making up stories about Voldemort's resurrection and called him a 'Harry Plotter' instead of a 'Harry Potter'. To make matters worse, Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge sent Dolores Umbridge as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, and her "Ministry-approved" lessons were inadequate against the Dark Arts coming to Hogwarts. Harry is persuaded by Ron and Hermione to form Dumbledore's Army, and begins secret training to prepare for the coming epic battle, while evading the strictest of scrutiny.

Sixth film: 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' film synopsis.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: It all began in 2001 - the day a boy named Harry Potter cast his first spell on the world. Now, the greatest fantasy of all time is about to reach its climax!
