Yuma Ishigaki Comment.

My own child was born just at the time of this audition, and everyone at the audition venue congratulated me.

Actually, I didn't have much time to do the audition, but I enjoyed playing the role in a good atmosphere, and I was told that my performance was "GREAT!

I was very happy. I want to remember and cherish the exciting sensations I myself experienced in the film version of Harry Potter and bring excitement to the audience through all the performances in the world of The Cursed Child.

We hope to bring a fresh feeling to each show, so that both those who have already seen it and those who will see it in the future can also enjoy the new element of a changing cast.

ISHIGAKI Yuma

Born in 1982 in Tokyo, Japan, he won the runner-up prize in the 2000 '21st Century Movie Star Audition' and made his acting debut in the film 'Masked Academy' that same year.

He came into the limelight for his good performances in the dramas Gokusen, WATER BOYS and Yankee Return to Alma Mater.
He expanded his activities to include MC on Junk SPORTS (CX), and has since acted in numerous TV dramas, films and plays.

Comment by Miho Owada

I will be playing the role of Ginny Potter, Harry's wife. The British creators I met at the auditions were so charming. I remember I was determined to pass the audition! I remember I was so determined to get in. I am so honoured to be working with you all.

The stage was a childlike thrill at the magic that happened one after the other, and not only that, I was moved to tears by the dramatic and sensitive storyline, which was far more than I had imagined.

I saw the play with my seven-year-old daughter and her father and was truly moved in the auditorium by the wonderful entertainment that both children and adults could enjoy together.
This time I will do my best on stage so that the audience can enjoy the show.

OHWADA Miho

In 2003, she made her debut as a heroine in the musical PURE LOVE.
She has since appeared in a wide range of musicals and plays, including 'Akuni', 'The Glass Mask', 'Woman in White' and 'Amadeus'.
Major recent films include Dodger and Swindler, Sumako - Still She Stands on Stage, A Woman's Life and DADDY.
At the same time, she regularly organises her own music events for parents and children, Mihoste, making use of her qualifications as a music therapist.
She has also been a Yokohama Children's Hospice Support Ambassador since 2021.

My name is Ryo Nishino and I will be playing the role of Scorpius Malfoy.

From the first time I saw the play, I fell in love with Scorpius' character and was instantly gripped by his very endearing personality. I absolutely wanted to play this role! That's what I thought.
And when I heard that I had been chosen to play Scorpius, I was incredibly happy and thrilled, and once again I wanted to know more about him, wondering what he thought and what kind of life he had led.

I am now looking forward to being on stage as Scorpius.
One by one, I would like to weave them together carefully.
I will perform with my whole heart and soul. I look forward to working with you!

NISHINO Ryo

In 2019, he won the Runner-up Grand Prix & QB Navigator Award at the 32nd Junon Superboy Contest.

Acting debut the following year, 2020.

He played the role of Takeo Aiga, the founder of the company, in a special film celebrating the 100th anniversary of Shogakukan.

I am Yuri Suzuki, the new Delphie.

I never imagined that I would be able to enter the world of, you know, 'Harry Potter'.
I wish I could tell you that I used to watch 'Harry Potter' in the cinema when I was a little girl.

When I got the call that I had passed the audition, I couldn't believe it was real - it was the moment when I realised that I was really lucky to have discovered theatre at the age of 11 and to have continued to perform on stage.

I will do everything I can to get on stage.
I look forward to seeing you all at the theatre!

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture.
