Universal Studios Japan | Christmas-Winter Season 2022-2023
USJ Christmas period and winter season is from Fri 11 Nov 2022 to Mon 9 Nov 2023 USJ's Christmas and winter season offers the following four patterns of fun as usual.
- Attractions only available during the Christmas period.
- Christmas period shows and events.
- Food & drink and sweets only available over the Christmas period.
- Limited edition goods for the Christmas period.
As early as 1 September 2022, the joint-stock company USJ (the company name of USJ) announced the content Christmas event for the 2022 Christmas season, "NO LIMIT ! Christmas" was announced! The event will feature the return of the giant Christmas tree, the first Christmas decorations in Super Nintendo World, Minion, Elmo and Snoopy Christmas Greetings, Hello Kitty Christmas Brass Band and much more! The content is likely to be a lot of fun!
Unfortunately, the event does not include the "Harry Potter Area".

Harry Potter Fancy dress (cosplay) for Christmas in the Harry Potter Area â
Many people come to the USJ Harry Potter Area all year round, but during Halloween, even more Harry Potter fans than usual gather in costumes of students, teachers, magical animals, candy and more. When dressing up in costume, be sure to check the rules and restrictions on the official USJ website's "Notes and Costumes".
The changing rooms (Stage 18) in USJ will close at the end of the Halloween period.
If you want to dress up (cosplay) as Harry Potter, the best changing rooms outside USJ are on the 4th floor of Universal City Walk.
Paid make-up rooms are available en route from Universal City Station to Universal Studios Japan. There are coin lockers, changing areas, make-up areas and a number of rental equipment such as hairdryers for a comfortable makeover.
