Harry's parents James and Lily Potter were murdered by Voldemort. Lord Voldemort also left a lightning bolt scar on Harry's forehead. Before this incident, the Potters' roof was covered in ivy and snow, but Voldemort's evil magic spell blew off and destroyed the second floor, leaving it untouched.
The moment I saw it for the first time, I was sobbing (T_T), even though I knew logically in my head that it was a story from the world of cinema, my emotions wouldn't let me do it (/_;).

As you may have noticed, the film set has a different appearance to the actual film shoot. Harry Potter's birthplace in Godric's Hollow, which appeared in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part of the film, had a blown-out ceiling on the second floor. Everything above the two windows on the second floor of the building in the photograph was destroyed.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film, part 1. It is shown in the scene where Harry and Hermione are looking on sadly in the Harry's house on display at the Harry Potter Studio Tour London is believed to be newly made. A well-informed fan told us that some of the Studio Tour exhibits were re-created replicas. So it is highly likely that the Potter house is also a replica.
